A Decision Has Been Made To Reduce The Bitrate Of The Station
A decision has been made to reduce the bitrate of the station from 128 to 64. The broadcast is still in stereo and most listeners will not even be able to distinguish the difference. Overall the reason behind lowering the bitrate is to allow those at work, on cell phones , and other places where high speed internet is not readily available the opportunity the listen to detour BLUES.

What happened to your itunes stream? It used to be 128 kbps and now its only 64.
Is this because of money? I hate commercials as much as the next guy but I would suffer through a few every now and then on your station because I know that you need to be supported.
I like your music but I can’t stand the 64 sound quality. Please advertise and bring back 128.

As I noted in the original post… Overall the reason behind lowering the bitrate is to allow those at work, on cell phones , and other places where high speed internet is not readily available the opportunity the listen to detour BLUES. This was the reasoning behind the change.

Hi thank you for that real good and handpicked blues that is hard to find in switzerland .
First time i switched to your station ( looks like the ham radio shack of my brother HB 9 MLD died).
The sound quality is good enough for me important is the blues and with 64 more people can listen to that fine station . Please go ahead
